Codes to be Written on Construction Equipment License

A Construction Equipment Operator’s Certificate allows you to operate construction equipment in areas closed to traffic. If the equipment is to be used in open traffic areas and on highways, the type of construction equipment you will be using must be listed on your license. (Codes to be entered on the license)

The new, fully European Union-compliant driver’s licenses, issued in accordance with the Traffic Law that came into effect on January 1, 2016, will not include the name of the construction equipment used. Instead, they will include short codes based on the type of construction equipment, in accordance with standards in European Union countries. This will ensure that the type of license is uniformly classified and understandable across all countries, providing you with an internationally recognized driver’s license.
