What is a Construction Equipment License?

Construction Equipment License is an operator’s certificate that can be obtained by training provided by Construction Equipment Courses and then passing the exam.

It is provided by institutions that have a Construction Machinery Course license affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

Driving Schools or any other institution cannot issue this document.

With this Certificate, you are authorized to use the type of construction equipment you have received training on in traffic or in any type of work area such as closed or open construction sites etc.

You do not need to have your Construction Equipment Operator’s Certificate transferred to your driver’s license unless you are driving.

How much does a Construction Equipment  license cost?

Other than the course fee, possible expenses include the health report, the finance fee paid to the driver’s license during operation, and the card fee. If you will not have your Operator’s Certificate processed on your driver’s license, you will not need to pay the driver’s license fee and card fee. Can I use a construction equipment without a business license, with a construction equipment operator’s certificate?

As long as it is not used in traffic, you can use a construction equipment without a license.

Can I use the Construction Equipment Operator’s Certificate as my driver’s license? How can I use it?

In order to apply the Construction Equipment Operator’s Certificate to your driver’s license, you need to take traffic and first aid courses. If you have previously had any class of driver’s license, you can apply to the police station and apply the construction equipment operator’s certificate you received from our institution to your driver’s license. If you do not have a driver’s license before, you need to apply to Göksu Driving School and take traffic first aid and engine lessons and pass the exams. If you complete the lessons for the G class driver’s license and pass the exam, you can apply your operator’s certificate to your driver’s license.

Which class of operator’s certificate can I use / cannot use on my driving license?

Only for roadworthy construction equipment, your “construction equipment operator authorization certificate” can be registered on your driver’s license. Non-roadworthy machines such as overhead cranes, metal pallet goat-footed machines, etc. cannot be registered on your driver’s license.
